Well, I am writing this post from dreary Chicago! However, I made it safely and it is sleeting rain back in Denver, so, no real reason to be there either.
I unfortunately and fortunately found this top at a cosnigment shop in Denver. Normally, I don’t tend to wear Free People, but eomtiems they have something that just catches by eye. I loved this top, one because the tags were still attached, two, it was a great deal ($20) and three it is quite different than anything I own.
One of the best, simplest outfits, in my option is dark jeans and a white top (ask my mom, she wears it everyday). But it is a classic look and can be worn on so many different occasions. I wasn’t really sure what to pair this top with, but dark jeans are always a good starting point especially with a white top. I really like to have color mixed into all my outfits, so since this one was so simple, I added the Boy Bag.
This top has some of the most darling details, to the ruffle sleeves to the buttons up the back. I have worn it out to dinner a few times and I am always surprised on the compliments I receive on it!
If you are a budget shopper, like I am, I highly encourage you to look for cosnignemtn shops in you area. There are so many more than I had originally thought and there is one I go to at least once a week. One of the best things is the feeling of hunting for treasure– you never know what you will find!
