My mom and I just got back from a long weekend in Charlotte and Charleston and we had a blast! It was so strange to be back in an airport and exploring new cities. It feels like it has been ages since I have needed a suitcase or travel sized products. Everything is so different now and definitely alters your experience, but I am just happy we were still able to go. Charlotte was a ghost town, but Charleston was hopping! It must have been due to 4th of July.
Charleston could not have been more charming, but I was surprised how touristy it was. There were so many good restaurants, coffee shops, and adorable boutiques! It is truly the perfect combination of everything — it even has the water! Doesn’t get much better. If you haven’t already gone, I encourage you to all go once. I cant wait to go back and not need to wear a mask everywhere!
