Happy Belated Memorial Day! Hope you all had a lovely long weekend.
My friends and I finally got together after months of being isolated! Of course, we practiced social distancing. I just think everyone, including myself, is itching to see their friends and socialize in any capacity!
The day started off perfectly with the nicest weather and a walk in the park and a great cup of coffee. A little while later I met a few friends for the classic memorial day cookout. I just love cookouts and campfires. They are so easy, such good food and everyone is so relaxed since there isn’t much else to do but socialize! After a little while, some friends dispersed and the remaining people went to the park for more socializing and to let the guys play frisbee!
It was such a great weekend and I am so thankful for all my blessing as I hope everyone is. Sometimes we just need to know that a blessing could be as simple enough as a beautiful day. Denver was actually expecting rain on Memorial Day and instead we had an amazing sunny day, so that alone was enough to make my day perfect.
