Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation: This is brand new to me! I am always looking for a light to medium coverage foundation that has long wear. Emily of the Sweetest Thing Blog originally introduced this to me and I will definitely be purchasing this again. First! There are SO many shades. I find this to be especially great for those who have dry skin. They do have a matte and a glow finish so there really is something for everyone. Remember, if you find it isn’t enough coverage, maybe for special occasion, you can always layer for more coverage. To me, it is so important to have a foundation that doesn’t make you look like you have foundation on and this is the product!
Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Primer: The vanish primer gets wonderful reviews, most of which I agree with. It does an amazing job minimizing pores and keeping your makeup in place all day. However, I do find it to be on the pricey side. But since this is the “foundation” to your foundation, it is worth it!
Tarte Contouring Sculpt Tape: I am very fair skinned and a little of this product goes a long way! I am rather new to Tarte products, but I am really enjoying this. They seem to have overall really nice products at a reasonable price point. It is super easy and fun to put on! Just unlock the brush, squeeze until product comes out, re-lock the product, and dot it on the desired areas. Truly gives a beautiful glow.
Tarte Slenderizer Bamboo Brush: Makeup brushes never seem to be inexpensive, unless you buy one that almost immediately starts to shed. So, if you are going to pay so much, why not get a 2 for 1?! This is a lovely brush with soft bristles. Perfect for applying the sculpt tape above and use the smaller end to blend areas around the eyes and nose.
Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara: This has been my favorite mascara since I was allowed to wear mascara. I rub my eyes all the time from them being so dry and this does a wonderful job staying in place. Provides length, volume, separation, and curl in a very natural way.
Anastasia Ombre Effect Long Wearing Brow Powder: Applies smoothly and blends very well. Having two shades makes it nice to blend and fade out at the end of the brow if you prefer. It really does last all day until you are ready to take it off.
Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder: The classic! Light in feel, but the maximum when it comes to coverage! It doesn’t sink into your skin or provide a cakey look. Helps keep oil to a minimum and your makeup on all day. My least favorite is the mess! So apply generously.. but over a sink!
